1. Does the welding process hurt?
No, not at all. The micro-welder emits a tiny, quick spark that connects the jump ring, but it only targets the metal. It never touches your skin, and you won’t feel a thing.
2. Can I go through airport security with it?
Yes. Permanent jewelry chains (made of 14k gold-filled or sterling silver) are fine and lightweight, so they do not set off TSA metal detectors at airports.
3. What if I need to take it off for surgery, an MRI, or a medical procedure?
If you ever need an MRI or surgery requiring the removal of metal, you can easily cut your bracelet off at the jump ring using household wire cutters or kitchen scissors. Save your chain, and most permanent jewelry artists (or Lea Linked) will gladly re-weld it for you later.
4. What materials do you use?
We exclusively use 14k gold-filled and .925 sterling silver. Plated metals are never used because thin gold plating burns right through during the welding process and wears off quickly. Gold-filled and sterling silver provide tarnish-resistant, high-quality, long-lasting wear.
5. Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?
No. Because we use solid 14k gold-filled and sterling silver rather than cheap base metals or surface-level plating, your pieces won't tarnish easily or leave green marks on your skin. They are made to live in—through showers, workouts, and swimming pools.
6. What if my bracelet breaks or stretches?
Life happens! If your chain snags and breaks at the weld site, keep the chain safe and reach out to us. We offer repair and re-welding options to get your stack back together.
7. Do I need an appointment?
While we love walk-ins at pop-ups and events, we recommend booking a private session or appointment to secure dedicated time for sizing, custom styling, and a seamless experience without the wait.
8. How much does it cost?
Prices vary based on type of chain selected. Most bracelets/anklets range from $65 - $85 based on chain type. Connect with us for additional details.
Private events: Flat travel charge of $30 applied within Tucson and surrounding areas.
Private Group Discount Minimum: 15% off applied to private bookings with a minimum of 10 participating guests.
